To start my album cover I used my scanned in textures and experimented with just using them on the vinyl cover measurements. I continued to develop these by adding layers and experimenting with filters which is displayed in the following images.
After a few experimentations I really liked this texture and decided to develop it further.
By using the crop and selection tool, I copied and pasted elements of the cover and moved it slightly to create a woven effect. I though this made the design look even more dark and fragmented like I intended and decided to use this design as my final.
