The first colour we used was yellow, we mixed the yellow paint using a spoon and put la large amount on top of the screen. For stock we used news print and used brown masking tape as a guide line on the board as a guide line so all the prints would be aligned. The first print displayed a yellow square and a t.shirt.
The second colour we used was magenta, following the previous steps and using the same guidelines we put the paper portrait and repeated the process. The second over laied print displayed a yellow cake, a bird and an apple.
The third colour used was cyan we repeated the same process as the other two colours. The cyan created dividing lines, a full colour cupcake and then a lowercase A & B.
Finally we used black (k) this completed the design of book, again using the same process as the previous colours. The colour created the main body of text, a half-tone style of a man amongst other designs.
When our screen print was dry, we then cut the sides off and scored along the middle with a scaple for precision. We folded the book together to make a hot dog book which folded out to read information.
Some of the pages of the hot dog book came out a little inconsistently so I cut it further to try and overcome this.
