HOW TO: FINAL

For this brief we worked in a group of 6. Myself and the group found this task quite challenging but overall I thought we worked well together. We possibly could have achieved more given if we was more organised.

The final design for our NUYU brand that caters to busy students who can't find the time to exercise. We chose to keep our design as clean cut and contemporary due to the infographics. Sarah and Ewan created the illustrations on illustrator using the live trace tool. Dan created the structure and layout of the leaflet and some poster designs. I was responsible for coming up with a set of instructions and routine ideas for each exercise that I had gathered from my research. I also created some design ideas and put forward design suggestions to my peers. We wanted the text to be legible and clear from any distance due to it's interactional features, so we used Helvetica.

The poster is a doubled sided design, the front shows the audience how to do particular exercises  and how long for in the style of info-graphics  The back shows the audience how much calories are lost and what particular exercises effect certain areas of the body.

The poster is easy to travel with and can be folded down into a leaflet, we wanted the exercise poster to be multi-purpose for the busy student and can be hung up, put away into a bag or stuck in particular places in a room where the exercise is required.

To complete our fold out poster, we perforated the sections of the poster so that the audience could interact with particular exercises by ripping them off and setting them down into particular places, e.g wall sit exercise would be placed on the wall.

Dan also created two poster that where in synchronise to the design of the interaction leaflet, which promoted the brand.
