RESEARCH PUBLICATION: PACKAGING REVISED

For my packaging I felt it really hard to think of what I could use despite my experiments, I really liked the potential stock I wanted to use for my front cover of my book. So I  decided to create a mailer out of similar stock using the laser cutter to cut out my packaging.

I used a net I found from a book in uni and sent the design to the laser cutter, using kiss cut for edges and cut through for the rest of the design.

I then applied sticky tape to the tabs and assembles the tabs but left one open due to it being a rip open mailer.

I am really pleased with the outcome of this packing and it was easy to create and has a good finish. If I had more time I would have wanted to apply some vinyl to the front so it could give the audience and indication on what was inside.
