COLOUR CONSIDERATION

After printing out my tickets, I felt that there was too many colours in my festival branding and it look slightly overbearing. I took a step back reflected on my design principles module and focused on colour theory and decided that I should use 3 colour plus stock instead.

From this I recreated my design colours to the choices below, and decided to use black and white stock as a form of incorporating other colours for legibility.



I chose these colours as I felt they were fresh, summery and catered to both sexes which is important for my audience to connect with. I also decided to change the idea of having the different colours for just the stages but naming them instead as a signifier and have the colours represent the type of festival ticket / wristbands.




I then recreated my image gradient and would use this as a signifier throughout my designs. With these considerations changed I felt that my work would work better visually and was more refined.
